Operation Smile Morocco Comprehensive Care Center

The Operation Smile Morocco Care Center, located in Casablanca, provides year-round ongoing medical and dental care to children who suffer from cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. The Care Center facilities include rooms for medical, dental, speech therapy and parental and patient consultations.

The Angus Lawson Dental Care (ALDC) Department’s, at the Operation Smile Morocco Care Center provides year-round dental care to Moroccan children. The clinic was funded, in part, by the Angus Lawson Memorial Trust. The purpose of the trust is to make funds available to support children from underprivileged or disadvantaged backgrounds, and to meet healthcare and educational needs. Angus Lawson was almost two years old when he passed away after an accident in 2006.

The Care Center provides post-operative care for its patients who receive surgery during an Operation Smile Medical Mission. Patients, who live in the Casablanca area and require follow-up sessions in speech therapy, or additional dental or orthodontic care, may receive treatment at the Operation Smile Morocco Care Center.

The Care Center also serves as headquarters for Operation Smile Morocco’s clinical and education programs as well as its administrative and fund-raising activities.
